Perinatal mental health: Conferences
My mental health campaigning work frequently attracts the attention of local and national media. Please click here to see an overview of radio, TV, and other media appearances.
I have presented my perinatal mental health work at a number of conferences (some of which I have hosted at Bournemouth University. You can discover more about those here.
It was a privilege to host the hugely successful (and motivating) maternal mental health conference at Bournemouth University. We were inspired to hear from health professionals, support groups and service users, raising awareness about perinatal mental health and promoting the need for better services and education. CPHVA Conference 2013
In October 2013, it was my great honour to be invited to give two talks at the Annual Professional Conference for the Community Practitioners and Health Visitors Association (CPHVA) at York Racecourse. I presented some of my work on perinatal mental health and, in a separate plenary, children's sleep (see http://www.andrewmayers.info/cphva.pdf) Please let me know if you would like a copy of my presentation slides.
